Need some there during birth to help advocate for me and my desires for this birth. Also need help with a birth plan and informational classes for my husband and myself about how to care for a newborn . I would like natural birth but unfortunately would have to do it in a hospital setting. My budget is around 1k.

I’m planning on giving birth in a hospital but if possible laboring at home for as long as possible. Estimated budget around $2,500-3,500 I’m doing a unmedicated birth also without pitocin. I want to birth on my knees or on my side. Any position other than on my back. I want to naturally birth the placenta and not forcefully push. Delayed cord clamping until it is white and baby has all her blood transferred.

we are an interracial couple with deep Christian faith. this is our first baby and I am an older mama at 38 y/o. having someone who is deeply experienced as well as a Christian is important to us and if they were a black woman that would be very meaningful. we value the holistic, low/no-toxic lifestyle and would like to have minimal medical interventions, though we know with my advanced age we may need to deliver in a hospital. with that, we would like to have someone that will help us prepare for birth, be an educator and advocate, as well as be present at the birth, so we can focus on one another and be as present as possible to the experience. We are also looking for someone who have help us transition for a few weeks after birth into postpartum (that can be different from the midwife but same preferences apply). This may include overnights to help with sleep or postpartum care for mama, as well as meal planning and any lactation support. this is all new to us, so we want to create a team that can help support us through the process and budget.

I plan to give birth at home during a water birth in my living room. Estimated budget I am unsure of and whether it can be covered through my insurance. Birth plan in not 100% though out yet just want to look at my options.
