Also need help with a birth plan and informational classes for my husband and myself about how to care for a newborn . We are giving birth at UCI MEDICAL CENTER. Budget is $4000. We are looking for a birthing doula to help us ensure an easy and optimized labor and delivery as well as with postpartum care while at home. Looking for someone to help minimize pain during birth, emotional support , prevent cesarean section, collaborate with nurses and doctors to optimize the admission. Lactation help making sure we are optimizing feeding.

We are also looking for someone who have help us transition for a few weeks after birth into postpartum (that can be different from the brith doula but same preferences apply). This may include overnights to help with sleep or postpartum care for mama, as well as meal planning and any lactation support. this is all new to us, so we want to create a team that can help support us through the process and budget.
