I would love to have a doula/midwife for my first experience becoming a mother. I would like to have a home birth or water birth if I could but if not then Uconn hospital is where I am usually seen by my OBGYN. My budget really depends on the service/services that are provided for me. I also have insurance so if anything is covered by that I would like that. I am truly interested in having a water birth. I only want my doula/midwife & father of my child there.

I need help getting my baby to develop a deep latch. I currently use silicone nipple shields due to my nipples being flat or not elongated enough, but this is also causing her to only suck the shields vs latching properly. I would like to latch my baby without the shields but when I try it is super painful. I just need overall breastfeeding help and tips.
