I am an experienced birth, postpartum doula and first year care specialist of over four years. I've been in maternal and pediatric work for over ten years, and love what I do. My background includes resource advisement and support within maternal care and pediatric research, child and adult counseling, and supporting families throughout pregnancy and postpartum. I am located within the Rhode Island area, and I do travel to support families within MA and CT. My intention behind this work is lending a helping hand, a listening ear, and grounded presence throughout this beautiful transition within your family before, during, and after birth. I'm excited to get to know you and how I can support you and your family. Many blessings!

A birth doula plays an essential role in providing continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to families throughout pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period. I offer two prenatal visits to help you prepare for labor, address any questions, and craft a birth plan that reflects your unique preferences. Our support extends beyond birth with two postpartum visits to assist with recovery and early parenting. Starting at thirty-seven weeks, we are on call 24/7 to provide reassurance and guidance during labor and delivery, as well as ongoing availability via text or call. Having a doula by your side can greatly benefit families by reducing stress, enhancing confidence, and fostering a sense of empowerment. With a birth doula, families are able to make informed decisions, feel more at ease, and experience a more positive and supported birth journey. Postpartum doulas provide a wide range of support to help families thrive during this special time, recognizing that each family’s needs are unique. We offer guidance on baby-wearing techniques to help you carry your little one comfortably while you go about your day. Our expertise in infant sleep support helps you establish healthy sleep patterns for your baby, and we assist with feeding support to ensure both you and your baby are comfortable and confident. We share valuable resources tailored to your family’s needs and provide assistance with sibling support to foster a smooth transition for everyone. Each shift is a minimum of four hours, but we can extend our time based on your family’s needs, allowing us to provide an individualized approach that suits your situation. We can also help with light cleaning and meal preparation, allowing you to focus on bonding with your new baby. We emphasize self-care integration, helping you prioritize your well-being as you navigate parenthood, and we support you through back-to-work transitions when the time comes. "Just a quick note about Brandi. I’m not sure what sort of magical powers she has, but J***** absolutely adores her. Brian says that every time Brandi is here, J***** is full of smiles and giggles. Thanks so much for introducing her to us. She makes our little boy so happy!" "Thanks again for everything! ******** was in such a great mood after both times you worked with him :)" "Brandi is very good at listening to people, giving guidance, being there for their needs, makes things positive in any situation. She is very caring and non-judgmental. She puts her whole heart in it, and is always on time and flexible if we needed more shifts. It felt like she was family" “Brandi puts herself in situations to serve. She is a team player and she is always professional."
