I plan to give birth at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Tight budget, hoping to be able to make payments. I am trying for a VBAC against OB recommendations, would like someone to help me advocate for myself.

This would be baby #3 but first vaginal delivery unmedicated. Looking for Birth support, planning to give birth at riverside community hospital. Have medical IEHP.

1. I am currently looking into hospitals and birthing centers 2. If you accept TriCare West, my insurance covers doulas as well 3. As natural as possible with no epidural or pitocin. Laughing gas is okay. Only husband and doula present during the actual birth, limited guests after birth. If at a birthing center, would like to do a water birth. If at a hospital, will like to have the ability to move around and shift if needed instead of laying on the bed.

My husband and I are both do not have background in medical and this is our first child, so we just want to be prepared. Fine with epidural but also fine with natural. Really want to avoid a C-section.

We’re so excited to meet our little one and we have been keeping their gender a surprise! I want to share that I have a history of anxiety, adjustment disorder, PMDD, and depression. It would mean a lot to us if the team could walk me through each step of the process during labor, as knowing what's happening each and every step (the what and the why) helps me stay calm. Would love help keeping an eye on any signs of postpartum anxiety or mood changes. I understand that things may change during labor, and I trust my care team to make decisions based on my and my baby’s health. My preferences are a guide, and I am very open to adjustments as needed. Labor Preferences: Environment: I prefer dim lighting, a quiet environment (with minimal traffic), and music during labor. Monitoring Preferences: Fetal Monitoring: Please use intermittent or wireless fetal monitoring. Cervical Checks: Exams are welcome, but with my consent I may decline if close together. Interventions (If Required): Rupture of Membranes: Please avoid artificial rupture of membranes unless necessary. Episiotomy: I prefer to avoid an episiotomy unless medically required. Assistance with Delivery: Please avoid forceps or vacuum. If C-Section is looking like a possible recommendation I would like to be informed as early as relevant. Delivery Preferences: Position: I may like to deliver in an upright/squat, all fours or side-lying position. Please allow me to follow my body’s natural urges when pushing. Pushing: I prefer to push when I feel the urge, unless directed otherwise for medical reasons. After Birth Preferences: Gender Announcment: I would like Nick to get to announce the gender if possible. Cord Clamping: I’d like to donate our cord blood and do what is required to allow that. Skin-to-Skin: Please place my baby on my chest after a light wipe off of vernix for skin-to-skin contact, unless there are medical concerns. Newborn Care: Delay weighing and bathing until after bonding time. Feeding: I plan to breastfeed and would like to initiate as soon as possible after birth.Please do not administer formula unless medically necessary and with my consent. Postpartum Preferences: Recovery: Please assist with early recovery and perineal care. All advice is welcome and appreciated! Visitors: Please limit visitors during the first few hours to allow bonding time. Ideally I would prefer to have been able to shower/utilize the restroom prior to first visitors. I will be giving birth at the hospital and I am wanted a doula as to it’s our first child and would love to have the extra support when it comes to telling the doctors my needs and wants out of this. Will be trying it unmedicated and no vaccines given to baby

Plan to birth at Riverside Community Hospital when the time comes. Going through Iehp Medical for services. Want to birth #3 vaginally, and unmedicated.
