I considered having Ayesha has my personal doula. She had experienced childbirth herself and genuinely loves this practice. However, during the interview process I was met with judgment about wanting a home birth. I was told “I wasn’t prioritizing my baby” and that the outcome of my natural delivery would be a “loose vagina that would ruin my sex life”. I came for advice and I was met with judgment and negativity about my labor process. I would not recommend at all!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about my friend Ayesha Rahman as a doula. From the moment I met her, it was clear she was passionate about supporting mothers through one of the most transformative experiences of their lives. Her calming presence, extensive knowledge, and genuine care make her an invaluable asset during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. She goes above and beyond to ensure her clients feel empowered, informed, and supported every step of the way. When I was pregnant my second child, she would give me advice on my labor and delivery to make me feel more comfortable with the whole process. Our children were roughly the same age. She gave me a lot of support throughout pregnancy and made me feel calm about my birth plan decisions. I highly recommend Ayesha to anyone seeking a compassionate and skilled doula.

I cannot thank Ayesha enough for the amazing support she provided throughout my pregnancy. I will forever be grateful for the support of my wonderful doula, Ayesha and the way she advocated for my needs and guided my partner to comfort. she was knowledgeable, positive and pleasant. She supported me through every step of my pregnancy journey. She provided me with education, additional resources and round the clock support. She made me feel empowered about my decisions. The things I felt doubtful about, she made me feel confident. During labor, she reduced my fears with her delightful presence. Ayesha is an amazing doula. I will never forget the amount of compassion she provided. I am forever thankful she was there to help me with the birth of my little one. Best experience.

I worked with Ayesha during my first pregnancy. Her knowledgeability and support were a true comfort to me as I experienced all the anxieties of a first time parent to be. She was always available to address any concerns I had and I had many considering every week something new hurt. I had extreme pelvic pain and Ayesha was able to teach me a few exercises during my pregnancy to help alleviate that. She was with me throughout my L&D. She kept me as comfortable as possible as she worked with me through breathing exercises, walking with me, repositioning me, consulting with doctors and nurses to make sure everything was progressing safely. My husband and I welcomed my son together after 12 hours of labor. Her support was truly a gift. Ayesha has remained available to me even now. I recommend her highly!

During labor, a doula's calming presence and wealth of comfort techniques can help ease your anxieties and manage pain naturally, whether through massage, breathing techniques, or simply providing a reassuring touch. Ayesha’s expertise in navigating the complexities of childbirth can also empower you and your partner to make informed choices that align with your birth preferences and values, fostering a sense of empowerment and agency in your birthing experience. Through my own experience no one is a better choice than Ayesha.
