Placenta Encapsulation
Placenta encapsulation is the practice of cleaning, steaming, dehydrating then grinding the placenta into a fine powder that is then filled into vegan or gelatin capsules to be ingested by the mother within the first few weeks postpartum.
Please conduct your own research and/or consult your physician prior to purchasing this service.
Closing of the Bones Ceremony
The Closing of the Bones ceremony is one way to honor the mother by acknowledging the immense changes her body has undergone in pregnancy and childbirth and assists in bringing her spirit back into her own body. This practice involves a series of massage and binding techniques to realign the pelvis, close the hips, and offer emotional closure. Benefits include potential relief from postpartum discomfort, support for pelvic realignment, and a symbolic transition to motherhood.
This ceremony is conducted approximately 4-6 weeks after vaginal delivery or 8-10 weeks after cesarean section and is completed within approximately 2 hours.
