Ashley is an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and postpartum doula in the OKC metro area. Through her life experience she has developed a deep passion for supporting families during their postpartum journey. She values the importance of a village in helping them thrive and meet their feeding goals. She has a range of lactation experience from mother-baby units, NICU, outpatient clinic, in home visits and support groups. Ashley is also a co-leader for the Postpartum Support International (PSI) Climb Out of the Darkness yearly event. In her free time, she enjoys being with her family, going outside, reading, exploring OKC coffee shops, and practicing yoga. Ashley continues to educate herself on infant/parental healthcare and well-being by earning continuing education in oral restrictions, food allergies, pediatric sleep, CPR/BLS, postpartum healing and maternal mental health. Her mission is to help her families have an educated, supported, holistic experience through the first few weeks after birth and beyond. Her goal for families is to have an uplifting transition into parenthood rooted in supporting their instinct, building confidence and a village.

Peaceful Roots Doula offers prenatal lactation education and postpartum prep. Other services include but are not limited to lactation support, oral restriction examination, oral prep and rehabilitation, oversupply/undersupply, nipple pain, flange fitting, pumping support, back to work and weaning. Postpartum doula services are an out of pocket service. Services include but are not limited to food prep, errands, sibling support, family service resources, light house work, newborn behavior and sleep education, supporting families in rest and nourishing foods.
