About me

Hello everyone! My name is Ariel Amarkarian, and I am an Armenian social justice advocate and dedicated birth worker. As a trained FULL SPECTRUM doula working toward certification with Birthing Advocacy, Stillbirthday, and DONA International. I provide compassionate emotional, physical, and informational support to all birthing people throughout every stage of their journey, from prenatal care to postpartum healing. Death is also an intrinsic part of life, and I am committed to supporting families through both the beauty of birth and the grief of loss. In addition to supporting childbirth, and postpartum, I also specialize in abortion care. I recognize that access to safe, respectful abortion services is a vital part of healthcare. My work is deeply rooted in principles of reproductive justice, health equity, inclusion, trauma-informed care, liberation and LOVE. If I am not geeking out over babies you can find me writing spoken word poetry, enjoying a good book, dancing, or watching reality TV (it's my guilty pleasure).

As a full-spectrum doula, I provide compassionate, personalized support for individuals and families through all reproductive experiences. My services include birth doula support, where I offer emotional, physical, and informational guidance before, during, and after labor to ensure a positive and empowered birth experience. In the postpartum period, I assist with newborn care, emotional well-being, and the transition into parenthood, creating a nurturing space for healing and adjustment. Beyond birth, I also provide abortion care and bereavement support, holding space for those navigating loss or difficult reproductive choices. My approach is nonjudgmental, trauma-informed, and centered on your unique needs, ensuring you feel heard, supported, and empowered. Whether you are preparing for birth, healing after loss, or seeking comfort in a time of transition, I am here to walk alongside you with care, respect, and unwavering support.

FEE STRUCTURE: The Service Provider's fee for birth doula services is $3,000 5 prenatal visits Assistance at Client’s birth 3 postpartum visits The initial retainer fee of $1,000 is due in full the same day this Agreement is signed by the Client and Service Provider The remaining amount of $2,000 is due in full one month before Expected Due Date. FEE BREAKDOWN: $40 per hour during the day (between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM) $80 per hour during the night (between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM) (Optional) - $100 additional for meal services designed to nourish your body and support recovery.
