About me

I’ve always been a doula, a giver, a sister, a person to lean on. I love all aspects of what I do, whether it’s physically holding hips or emotionally holding space. Within my practice I try to achieve a 50:50 balance of the spiritual, energetic with the scientific, evidence-based. As I learn more about you, our conversations shift to augment the type of support that best resonates with you and supports your goals. I am a certified labor doula (CLD) and certified postpartum doula (CPD) through DONA (Doulas of North America) and ToLabor. I have attended many births in various settings - homebirths, birth centers and hospitals. I actively attend workshops, courses and continuing education classes on childbirth, hypnobirthing, spinning babies, breastfeeding, postpartum, newborn care and holding space for pregnancy loss. I fully believe that all pregnant persons have an innate inner-knowing that is a powerful guide through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Our time together will emphasize self-discovery as we listen to your intuition, practice mindfulness & breathwork, energetic healing & support, and prepare for a birth as unique as you are

BASIC PACKAGE: We will have 1-2 prenatal meetings to get to know one another better, discuss your birth preferences and needs, and practice comfort measures and positions to get a sense of how we will work together as a team at your birth. From the moment you hire me, I will provide unlimited phone/text/email support. I love questions and want you to use me as a resource. Access to my digital resource packet, chock full of information specific to San Diego. I am on-call for you 24/7 from week 37 of your pregnancy until your birth. I will have contact with you during labor and join you when you decide you would like me there & attend your labor continuously until your baby is born. I will stay with you for 1-2 hours postpartum and help with lactation support and getting you comfortable during those first hours. I will come for a follow-up postpartum visit within the first two weeks of your birth where I bring soup, and provide belly binding. I can provide support with processing your birth, feeding your baby, new parent self-care, emotional support, newborn care, etc. I will come for a second follow-up postpartum visit around 4 weeks postpartum, which can help alleviate any fears, address any postpartum issues and provide additional support with infant care. If preferred, this follow-up can also be done over the phone.I am always available to you in the future to discuss your birth experience, help you find resources for parenting, and delight in your child's growth and development.
