NICU nurse/Newborn Care Specialist/Postpartum Doula I have been an RN for 23+ years. 19 years were spent in the NICU. The last 4 years as a newborn/pediatric home care nurse. I am married with two beautiful girls, one is a teenager and the other a young adult. I can be a caregiver for your whole family. What is the Difference Between a Postpartum Doula & a Newborn Care Specialist? During and after childbirth are both incredibly stressful times for new mothers. Whether you are a first-time mom or not, you might have many questions and anxieties regarding how to best care for your child and how to adjust your lifestyle to fit this new arrival. And while a doctor, midwife, or another medical professional will walk you through childbirth and original aftercare, many moms often wish for additional support as they navigate this new step in life. it comes down to what you, as new parents feel you need the most help with!
