About me

I grew up playing sports, but had seasons of inconsistent exercising throughout school. It wasn’t until I started Crossfit that I personally felt the benefits of consistency and how empowering strength training can be. After experiencing pain relief and an overall improved capacity for all life has to offer, my mission is to help all of my patients experience that freedom. My husband I are now trying to start a family, and after experiencing some difficulties along the way and still working out hard, I started to see there is big gap in pelvic floor physical therapy, especially for pregnant and postpartum moms who want to still lift heavy, jump, and run. I understand that womanhood is challenging and requires a lot from us. That’s why my philosophy is women should be strong, resilient, and ready to take on all of life’s challenges without having to worry about the pelvic floor. I take a fitness forward approach when it comes to pelvic floor physical therapy to prepare you to handle life’s demands. Whether you’re training for a CrossFit competition, a marathon, pregnancy, or motherhood, my passion is empowering you to live a fit and active lifestyle without pelvic floor dysfunction holding you back. I specialize in helping female fitness athletes overcome pelvic floor dysfunctions, as well as pregnant fitness athletes stay strong through pregnancy, prep for birth, navigate the postpartum space, and return to running, lifting, and gymnastics.

Service introduction

Pelvic Floor isn't just kegels. Say goodbye to the old way of pelvic floor physical therapy. Life isn't lived laying down, so your rehab shouldn't be either. You're active, you lift heavy weights, and you chase that runner's high. But maybe you experience leaking with double unders or a heavy clean day. Maybe you've dealt with this since you were a teenager, or maybe you've had several kids and accepted this as your new normal. Maybe you just got the exciting news that you're pregnant and you're not sure when to modify exercises. Or maybe you are soaking up this precious time with your newborn, but you're itching to get back into the gym but don't know if you should yet. At Ascend, we understand that womanhood is challenging and requires a lot from us. That's why our philosophy is women should be strong, resilient, and ready to take on all of life's challenges without having to worry about the pelvic floor. We take a fitness forward approach when it comes to pelvic floor physical therapy to prepare you to handle life's demands. Whether you're training for a CrossFit competition, a marathon, pregnancy, or motherhood, our passion is empowering you to live a fit and active lifestyle without pelvic floor dysfunction holding you back. We specialize in helping female fitness athletes overcome pelvic floor dysfunctions, as well as pregnant fitness athletes stay strong through pregnancy, prep for birth, navigate the postpartum space, and return to running, lifting, and gymnastics.
