Hello and welcome to Flowerbud Lactation! My name is Amanda and I am a lactation consultant with a background in Neonatal ICU and pediatrics nursing. After spending several years supporting families through the toughest times as a NICU nurse, I discovered my passion for infant feeding and breastfeeding. My philosophy is centered around compassion, kindness, and non-judgmental support. I believe in empowering parents with knowledge and helping them feel confident in their feeding choices. What sets me apart from other lactation consultants is my specialization in maternal mental health. I am passionate about supporting moms who are struggling with anxiety, depression, baby blues, PTSD (abuse or sexual trauma), and other challenges. I am dedicated to creating a safe and comfortable space for parents to share their experiences and seek guidance. At Flowerbud Lactation, we provide personalized care and support to help families achieve their feeding goals. We believe that every parent deserves access to quality lactation support, and we are committed to making that a reality. Thank you for considering Flowerbud Lactation, and we look forward to supporting you on your breastfeeding journey.

At Flowerbud Lactation, we offer a range of services to support new parents in their breastfeeding journey. Our free initial consultation provides an opportunity for parents to get to know us and determine if we're the right fit for them. We offer one-on-one consultations either in the comfort of our clients' homes or virtually, and provide detailed feeding plans to follow. To ensure parents are comfortable with the process, we offer weekly follow-up appointments for 5 weeks. In addition to lactation support, we also provide private prenatal classes and pump flange fittings to ensure mothers have the proper equipment for their breastfeeding journey.
