About me

Hello, my name is Amanda Hercules, I am a certified international pediatric sleep coach. I am also a foster parent here in the state of Washington. I have been working in childcare since I was 18. As a nanny, a household manager, a nanny share, and a tutor. I have a lot of experience with multiples and with multiple children in the house. In 2019 I got certified as a postpartum doula and began working with local families in their postpartum stage. I was primarily a night doula, and this paired with my years-long work in childcare I learned a lot about sleep. In 2024 I was certified an international pediatric sleep coach, and I am excited to help families on this journey. I am here to provide you with facts and support. I will never judge or pressure you to do anything. I like to lay all the options out with parents and together choose a method or combination of methods that works for your family! Please reach out to me with any questions you might have. AmandaHercules.com

Service introduction

Hello, I am currently offering consultations, coaching and guides. I will break them down as I see them. Consultations: These are normally about an hour long via ZOOM, we discuss healthy sleep norms, sleeping windows, sleeping spaces, the science behind sleep a bit, and so so much more. We also talk about how light, sounds, and feedings play a part in sleep. You can ask any questions as we go and if you would like I can create an ideal sleep schedule for your family. Right now my consultations only go to 12 months old. Coaching: This is where I would essentially coach you on how to sleep train your child. In the manner that you choose. We will go over current sleep and issues and see where we need improvement and then you will complete a sleep diary. Then I will use that and our previous talks to form a sleep plan for your child. I will call you and we will go over it in detail. This call can last up to 90 minutes. Then you will have a very straight forward plan for sleep. You can then choose the level of support you would need from me in the future. Guides: These are digital guides you can buy and use to create your own sleep plan, or ideal nap schedule. Right now, I only have a newborn guide listed. I am working on 5 months – 12 months and soon that will be added.
