About me

Hello! My name is Alyssa Reynolds, and I'm a childbirth educator located in Cary, NC. I'm passionate about supporting women and families in their birth choices. Whether you’re planning a hospital, birth center, or home birth, my goal is to help expecting parents feel prepared for labor, birth, and breastfeeding! I graduated from Duke University with degrees in English and cultural anthropology. I knew I wanted to be a childbirth educator when I gave birth to my daughter in 2015. My husband and I had used The Bradley Method® to prepare, and we had the most amazing water birth. I was so proud of myself for achieving my birth goals, and I loved how we worked together as a couple. I felt strong and empowered during my births, and I want all women to have the same positive experience.

Service introduction

I teach group and private childbirth classes. My Bradley Method course is a 12- week program that covers exercise, nutrition, stages of labor, medications, C-sections, breastfeeding, newborn care, and the postpartum period. It's a comprehensive program that leaves couples prepared for labor and birth! It's also great for second-time moms who want more information or who are seeking out an unmedicated vaginal birth.
