As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), I can't emphasize enough the importance of understanding and support during this journey. When I think about my four kiddos and the challenges I faced with tongue and lip ties, it fills me with a fiery passion to make sure no momma feels alone in her breastfeeding quest. Embracing a holistic perspective, I firmly believe that the magic lies in wholehearted guidance, not just ticking off checklists. Having had the privilege of serving as a Mother/Baby nurse at St. Luke's the Woodlands Hospital and being a part of the amazing Texas Children’s Hospital team in the Houston Medical Center, I've witnessed the immense strength and resilience of mothers and their babies. Whether it's the NICU or an outpatient clinic, every mom and babe have a unique story, and I cherish being a part of it. Always learning, always growing, I'm active with the Houston Area Lactation Consultants and Educators Association (HALCEA), because there’s always something new on the horizon. When I’m not in my professional shoes, I’m fully immersed in the joy of homeschooling my children and being active in our church community. And speaking of communities, BCB feels like home. I offer comprehensive prenatal and postpartum services to support breastfeeding success. Expecting parents can benefit from breastfeeding education through group classes, private consultations, or virtual sessions. Postpartum services include in-patient, home, and office visits, with specialized care for issues like tongue-tie, bottle feeding challenges, and breastfeeding difficulties. Additionally, I provide guidance on breastfeeding nutrition, infant reflux, and allergy management. My services extend to breast pump consultations, bodywork, photobiomodulation therapy, and weaning support. Virtual consultations are available via a HIPAA-compliant platform, and I offer ongoing care through classes, support groups, and sleep consultations for new parents.
