In addition to working with 4,000+ families across the preconception, prenatal, postpartum and newborn periods, I have been honored to have experience in a variety of settings including four countries, five birth centers, and home births scattered in urban and rural settings. The fabric of these experiences has helped me develop a keen adeptness for working with a diverse range of clientele. Over the years, my focus and passion within midwifery has expanded to include many intersections across reproductive justice. I have specific interests in trauma informed care, mental wellbeing during the perinatal period, and research and education on minimizing obstetric trauma.
