I am a Full spectrum doulas support people through the entire spectrum of reproduction, including fertility, pregnancy, loss, birth, and postpartum. What is a doula?! Doulas are non-medically trained community care workers who provide informational, emotional, and physical support to their clients Having a baby should be a positive experience, so our doula services focus to create a safe and comfortable environment for you to bring your baby into the world and begin bonding immediately. Our job isn’t done once delivery is over. Through our doula services, your doula will provide birth and postpartum support to offer a smooth transition into parenthood.

We’ll start by getting to know each other so that I can tailor this experience to your needs. We’ll discuss your desires for your birth, your fears and concerns, decisions that may come up during your birth experience, and coping techniques for birth. Topics may include, but are not limited to: Choosing the best birth location and provider for you What to expect from the experience of labor Non-medical coping strategies for comfort in labor Preparing your partner to support you Common medical interventions in labor and birth Creating a birth plan Preparing for the postpartum period and breastfeeding

Birth Support
Three birth-preparation prenatal visits, plus: Text-messaging support throughout your pregnancy, so you can reach out to me with questions or to chat about your pregnancy/birth anytime. 24/7 on-call support as your birth approaches, because babies come at all hours. Back up doula available in case of emergency/illness, so you never have to worry that something will prevent you from getting the support you need. In-person support through labor and delivery, to help you navigate challenges and choices that may come up during labor, to be a witness to your experience, and to make your labor experience more comfortable. 1 Postpartum visit to process your birth experience and check in on your current needs

Postpartum Care
The plus postpartum package includes everything from the birth preparation and birth support packages plus 20 hours of postpartum support. Postpartum support may include: Support in learning to care for your newborn baby Help with your feeding goals Providing an opportunity for you and your partner to sleep Troubleshooting any physical, emotional, or baby-care challenges that arise postpartum. Helping to keep the household running smoothly by assisting with meal-prep or light cleaning.
