New life is a miracle! Experience it with the support you deserve. I specialize in home births, free births, and non-medicated births. I am a DONA International trained doula and certified essential oil specialist. I work closely with the homeschool and Christian communities, as well as people who are interested in alternative health, eastern medicine, herbal and natural support, etc. I offer packages for birth, postpartum, and birth + postpartum (including an option to stay overnight). Everyone needs someone they can count on through this incredible and overwhelming life event. I would be honored to be there for you.

Service introduction

I specialize in natural, holistic, herbal, and alternative therapies like herbalism, meditation, visualization, EFT, etc. You can choose how much or how little you are comfortable with, and will receive the same level of respect and consideration either way. :) Basic doula services include emotional, physical, and spiritual comfort and support during the birth and/or postpartum periods, such as positioning, thermotherapy, touch therapy, and environment management to ensure a calm and soothing experience.

Birth Care

Includes: - prenatal visits to get to know each other, talk about how you envision the birth going, and how I can best support you and the rest of your team - "on call" period when you get close to your due date (pricing varies depending on how early you want me to get there) - staying with you through labor and delivery, providing emotional and spiritual support, helping you find comfortable positions, helping you consider your options, helping you communicate your wishes if necessary, and making sure your partner and any other family are included - staying for an hour or two after the baby is born to help you with breastfeeding and adjustment - postpartum visits and check-ins to help you with finding a sleep and feeding schedule that works for you and your baby, milk supply, learning how to use a wrap or baby carrier, etc

Postpartum Care

Includes: - prenatal visits to get to know each other and discuss how I can best support you, your baby, and your family after the birth; what you expect and need from me, and any boundaries you have for a new person in your home - "on call" period when you get close to your due date and close communication with your partner or a designated family member during the delivery - arriving at your home the same time you do after delivery, or at an agreed-on interval after the birth - holistic family care for the agreed-on period (daytime only, days and nights, up to 5 days) - focus on the mother and baby: ensuring comfort, lactation support, postpartum-appropriate meals, herbal support for hormonal recovery - as possible: support for the partner, other children, extended family, pets, and household staff including basic cooking/meal prep, babysitting, dog walking/pet feeding, communicating scheduling to cleaners, chefs, au pairs, assistants, etc Final prices will vary greatly as we build a custom care experience, but usually range from $4,700 to $8,000. (The base package is $4,700)
